Each meter of wool yarn mimics the rich colors of the picturesque landscape around the mill. Fully lined for comfort. Two rear button–through flap pockets. Soft leather front-pocket facing for durability and style. Our classic–fit plain–front pants are cut trimmer through the thigh. In charcoal, brown. Pure Scottish wool. Dry clean. Imported. Even waist sizes: 32-46. Cuffed up to 34" or plain finished up to 35" at no extra charge.

"I like a good wool.
Wool breathes, even in summer (northern Idaho) heat.
Wool insulates, even in a cold rain.
I've worn these trousers for 2 years straight.
And I really mean "straight."
In the spring and fall they are my hiking/backpacking gear (pack weight is still under 30 pounds).
All winter long they also double as my PJs (wool resists odors, too).
But actually, when you tear out the non-wool lining, as I did, they are a little scratchy on the legs.
Unfortunately, I've just about wore out the right knee.
So I need a replacement pair.
(I wonder if I can put on a leather knee-patch?)

"I have both colors and they are really nice and warm especially in cold winter days, at the same time they are not to warm on a cool fall day. The fact that they are lined is a real plus. All of the Orvis pants are top of the line."
