Featherweight Lambskin Jacket
Perfect for warmer weather, our men's featherweight leather jacket is the distinctively handsome way to shrug off cool breezes. Ultrasoft lambskin, paired with subtly contrasting leather on the collar, placket, and cuffs, ensures absolute comfort and long wear. Plaid mini-ribbed pure cotton body lining with polyester sleeve lining for easy on-and-off; lightly elasticized sides provide an ideal fit. Two exterior pockets; four interior pockets (three with secure zip closure). Snap cuffs. Full-length cut-brass front zipper. Men's lambskin leather jacket in dark brown. Genuine lambskin leather shell with pure cotton body lining and polyester sleeve lining. Professionally clean. Imported.Sizes: S(34-36), M(38-40), L(42-44), XL(46-48), XXL(50-52). About 29" long in size large.

"Very,very nice leather jacket. Extremely lightweight and very stylish. I have never purchased a leather jacket as light as this, yet it still keeps the cool nights away from you. If you are under 5'9"-6' you may want to go with the large. I tried an X-large and it was just too big in the torso. Orvis quickly shipped out the large and I will be wearing it tonight!"

"Very lightweight and well made. Leather does feel buttery soft. Plenty of room in a medium for a medium frame (I wear a 40 jacket), and sleeves are nice and long (I wear a 15 1/2 34" shirt).
Could use a little more detailing, as front is remarkably plain. Also, raglan style sleeves feel very different than square shouldered jacket. Sometimes feels like it is sliding off, when it isn't."

"This leather jacket is just the right weight for comfort during cooler late spring, summer, early autumn days and nights. Also, at 6' 3", my normal shirt size is a large tall. I was concerned that the large regular jacket would not give me the proper sleeve length. Not to worry, the jacket fits perfectly. Lastly, there are secure inside pockets for stowing items you do not want to have falling out when you take the jacket off and drape it over a chair."

"I had been searching for a leather jacket for sometime and could not find anything I was interested in; and then I found this jacket. I was skeptical of the catalog photo so I went to a local Orvis store to see it in person. The photo is accurate all the way around, including portraying the color of the jacket. The store manager (female) had not seen the jacket because it was in the back and when it was brought out she couldnt stop complimenting on it.........and the compliments havent stopped coming. Women oogle over this jacket. It TRULY is so soft they ask if its leather or faux. And then they just keep feeling the sleeves in amazement. The description is also correct that it is a jacket; not a coat. The weight is absolutely perfect and oh so comfortable. I also like the fact that is has "modern" styling but will remain forver classic as well. It has just enough styling, pockets, and looks without going over the top. If your looking for a leather jacket that is a pleasure to wear for any occassion and get plenty of looks wearing it......well then, look no further. Well done again, Orvis"

"It's not a bomber jacket but it has echoes of one. Perhaps it is the citified cousin. Very lightweight and very soft leather. The contrasting inner placket adds a nice touch of detail. Worth the money, and couldn't find anything comparable elsewhere."

"I ordered this jacket for my husband because he wanted a lightweight leather jacket. I had looked at many popular department stores with no luck. My husband loves this jacket! He said it was exactly what he wanted. The quality is exceptional. The brown color is so rich looking. I am impressed with the packaging and attention to detail with which it was shipped. "I must be a pretty picky person as far as outerwear goes. I have ordered two other jackets from Orvis and have returned both of them. They just didn't have the "fit" and look I wanted. This jacket arrived today and the moment I opened the box I had good vibes. The jacket is packed in a green protection pouch which looks very classy (my wife got dibs on it). The hanger is a stained wood and brass affair and also looks like it is well thought out. But.....the moment I put the jacket on it felt perfect. My wife was equally impressed. I was looking for a lightweight jacket that looked classic. I wanted a coat that could be worn in the car without making you sweat. This coat should be perfect for the majority of fall/spring/early summer days where the temperature is between 40-60 degrees(probably 80% of our days).
Now, as for size. I am just shy of 6 foot, weigh 170-175 lbs and bought the medium. I have learned that Orvis cuts its clothing "generously". This time the fit is perfect and I am happy. When I ordered the coat it was suppossed to be backordered till February 14th. It arrived today on January 31st. Hooray Orvis!!"

"I have read all the reviews on this jacket and they were very helpful. I owne eight Orvis leather coats and they are all of the finest leather and craftmansship and they have always been a great fit for me. Two fo the coats are smaller than the other six, so I got a xl instead of a xxl which I usually order ( have lost a little weight, so the reviews were so helpful and the jacket is on back order until Feb. so I took a chance on the xl and lo and behold it fits perfectlly) the xl is a perfect fit and I would recommend this jacket to anyone. I think the size is true to the catalog sizing chart. Thanks Orvis for another great Leather Jacket."

"The coat color is not as dark as described or pictured by the website. Someone may have already said this in an earlier review. If it was the same color as the picture, I would have kept the coat rather than returned it. The brown was way too light for my taste."

"This is exactly the right jacket for cool summer breezes through the day or in the evening. I really have enjoyed wearing this item all summer long. It goes well with jeans and it is so light that you hardly know you are wearing a coat. The quality of the leather is really excellent and I like the standup collar too.
I tried on the jacket at my local Orvis store and found that I needed to buy the XL size although two other leather jackets purchased recently from Orvis were fine in L size."

"This light weight leather jacket is exactly what I wanted. I have been looking for a leather jacket that I can wear three seasons a year. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding. The leather is actually softer than my driving gloves! I would not call the color "dark brown". My Orvis leather bomber jacket is a a dark brown. This light weight jacket is more of a milk chocolate. This is no problem. The color is perfect. I look forward to cooler weather (it is 90 degrees as I write this) so I can begin wearing the jacket. I will probably wear it everyday."

"This jacket is nothing short of superb.
I was a little worried spending so much money on an item of clothing which I had never seen or tried on. any concerns quickly dissappeared when I opened the delivery package to reveal a branded suit carrier containing the jacket protected by tissue paper. It fitted perfectly !!
It is lightweight and smart, can easily be worn with a shirt and tie for the office, or with a teeshirt and jeans for the pub.
Congratulations Orvis, this jacket realy does ooze quality."
