We chose our favorite lightweight prewashed, pure cotton denim for this wonderfully comfortable robe. Perfect for lounging, it has enough coverage to wear on a trip to the mailbox for the morning newspaper or while sipping coffee on the porch. Cuffs, inner collar, and placket are faced with soft cotton chambray. Front patch pockets. Cotton robe for women in dark indigo. Pure cotton. Washable. Imported.Sizes: S(6-8), M(10-12), L(14-16), XL(18-20); about 49" long.

"Just the robe I was looking for. I wanted a long robe with sleeves that was still light weight enough for summer. This is it. Just a couple notes: it runs large! Also whoever made it must have been left handed as the one (wish there were two pockets) is on the left. I keep reaching to my right and there's no pocket there. The sleeves are nice as they can easily be rolled up to shorten. It's a bit pricey but I get a lot of wear out of a robe so figure it's worth it. I'd give it 5 stars if it had another pocket on the right side!"

"While this robe looks like a lab coat when on, it is comfy and well made. The buttons are a novelty - but don't really add anything to the robe's basic unexciting style. The robe material washes well, and comes from the dryer looking fine. Overall, too high price for not enough style."

"I have only worn the product once since I purchased it. I have been looking at the product in the catalog for over a year. It is everything that I expected it to be. "I wanted this bathrobe for the longest time and never got around to ordering one. My husband purchased it for me for Christmas and what a nice surprise! The denim is soft and lightweight but provides enough "coverage" for when my daughter's boyfriends,etc, are around. I love it and the fit is true to size."

"This is an all-occassion robe. You can get caught wearing it going out for the paper, and it is comfortable for all day and night use. The fabric is soft yet durable. I love the denim blue, and I look forward to wearing it for many years!"

"Very nice weight for what I wanted, a light cover-up, house dress to be decent to wander outside to the mailbox or garden. Agree with others, would have been nice to have side seam pockets, or at least matching patch pockets on both sides. Add a pocket and I'll buy another!"

"I wondered whether to get small or medium, as I'm a UK size 12 or 14. So I read the reviews and went for small, which was the right decision as the fit is generous.
The pocket is higher than usual, but it's OK, though it would be better if there were two.
The fabric is lightweight but not flimsy and the long sleeves (which you could easily roll up) make it just right for a cool summer day - the sort we get plenty of in England.
I'd hesitated about getting this as it was quite expensive. But I wish I'd bought it ages ago."

"This is great for going outside to get the mail or walking the dog and not be looking like you just got out of bed. You could even belt it and wear it out as a casual dress. It is lightweight which is a must for those of us who sometimes get hot. :-)
Sizing was good. I like my robes big but it wasn't too big."

"I love denim . This denim robe is the best . I put it on as soon as I got it . It fit perfectly . It [ the denim] is so soft and comfortable . I love the buttons . It was pricy , but I had been wanting to get it so .... I was pleasantly surprised at fit . I usually wear a 14-16 top and a large fits perfectly . I haven't purchased from Orvis much but now I will probably buy clothing from them . It was worth it ."

"I have bought a lot of these robes. They are not always consistent in their sizing by running smaller. I always buy the same size. I do wish they had two pockets. But, I am a huge fan of the robe. It washes beautifully and I do not iron it. I can go out after the paper in the mornings and not feel I am out and about in a robe. Great product."
