"I have just received olive, corn and dark navy supercord pants. I have to say that these pants are the best ever corduroy pants i have ever purchased. I have a wide collection of corduroy trousers from the very best european brands. But none can match the fabric quality and styling of these pants. Simply superb. I wish you had all the colors available. I wish to buy all the colors."

"Excellent quality trousers though I have one complaint. I have two pairs of these and intend purchasing a third before long. On both pairs I have had to re-stitch the leg hems as they fell away after only one wearing. Please tell your tailor to make a more secure job of it in future. Thank you."

"These trousers are wonderfully warm, well made and have a substantial feel to them. I have a pair in Dark brown and a pair Light brown. I'm thinking of getting a pair in Olive. Other trousers seem lightweight when you've had a pair of these !"

"These supercords are wonderful durable trousers. However, I wish that you would bring back the orange/rust red color selection that you had two years ago. Complete strangers have complemented on the trousers in that color!!!! Mine are nearly worn through. Please bring them back. I'll buy 3 if you do."

"I live in Norway, and usually buy cords from the UK. I prefer these: they cost more than the ones I used to buy, but I prefer the cut and so far they seem to be more durable. That said, I bought several pairs. The green seemed to be a slightly trimmer cut than the others I have, but they still fit comfortably. I am considering the blue, but wish that the leather pocket insert was in black: that seems more 'natural' as I would wear black shoes with navy / dark blue pants. I would also be interested in black: again, with a black leather insert. For me, in a job where i need to dress 'smart casual', these meet the 'spec'."

"Unlike other cords that I have owned these cords are extremely thick and heavy.If one is a trapper in extremely cold weather outdoors they might be useful.But in a modern centrally heated home and professional emplyment they are somewhat anachronistic.The styling is fine for the "bigger" physique shall we say,and hangs awkwardly with very wide legs ,on a slimmer frame.My wife had to redo my belt loops when new,so poorly were they stitched.Mainly for me they are lacking in style,far too thick, and somewhat cumbersome.All would be fine if they were reasonably priced,but they are not.For the Orvis name you pay top price.By shopping around you can get the same/better for considerably less money."

"I have a green pair, cuffed. Peerless. I have worn them every day since arrival. The material is so thick and warm. Yet the feel is soft and comfortable. The leather pockets are delightful and Orvis tailored the legs exactly to my specification; I ordered online. I am waiting for my Tan pair to arrive. 6 stars."
