"I'm a stickler for matched clothing, even when traveling. This Orvis luggage, with the foldout wardrobe, allows me to hang all of the slacks and shirts needed while preventing wrinkles. The wardrobe leaves the inner compartment with plenty of space for several pairs of shoes, casual items and my toiletries. I'm now able to travel at length with enough matching clothes and shoes for lengthy trips. Ergo, Completely coordinated in one piece of luggage. I love it!"

"On my first trip with my new suitcase, the handle came off. No problem, Orvis repaired it quickly and properly. After quite a bit of traveling I have found that these suitcases are not made for frequent fliers. There are holes in the fabric several places. The zipper has been a bit stubborn, and now there is a hole along the zipper that makes it almost impossible to use. I just cannot take the chance that I will one day be somewhere far from home with a suitcase that cannot be closed. Sorry, Orvis, but this just isn't good enough for those of us who use the suitcase more than a couple of times a year."

"This is a gem to my collection. I recieved a set of Battankill luggage for my college graduation, almost 2 decades ago. Each piece has held strong, or has been replaced/fixed since. I can only imagine that this one stays with me for 20 years. Great internal compartments for my travel needs, large outer pockets for last minute 'forgotten' items. Extremely versatile!"

"Nothing matches Orvis quality and customer service ... Except for their willingness to stand behind their products! When I decided to upgrade my luggage there was no question in my mind that I was going to go with Orvis,nubt the Battenkill luggage line has been nothing short of spectacular. I've accumulated the executive backpack and carry-on duffle to go with this rolling bag and anticipate adding to this set in the years to come."

"My son will be college bound soon. When I was his age, my older brother bought me similar luggage that was well built, heavy canvas and "lifetime guaranteed". Over the next 20 years, most of the set has lasted, but the company did not! As pieces or zippers broke I couldn't find anyone willing to repair the bags so they were trashed.
Now my son is going to college and I can rest assured that Orvis will be there to make sure his luggage remains fully functional; if repairs are ever needed. I bought him the carry-on backpack bag a year ago and wanted a larger bag this year for him.
The bag is extremely well designed and built. It is easy to handle and holds a lot of gear. I have found no flaws or other issues with this piece. I like it so much I plan on ordering one for myself!"

"Today is 19th August; I received this item at 0930. I called ORVIS yesterday morning to ask if I would get this by next Thursday if I ordered it straight away. I also needed the Lap Top/Weekender roller case. The agent sourced these two items to one retail outlet in Edinburgh. The delivery has taken LESS than 24hours. ORVIS’ customer service is the best there is without doubt.
Yes it is true to say that the prices in the ORVIS range are a bit higher that others, but the service is unbelievably good. In general terms, judging by the several items I have purchased so far, the quality stacks up too. Some reviews that I have read would suggest that quality is the last thing that ORVIS cares about. All I can say to that is that some people are hard to please. If I discover any defect in any ORVIS product that I have bought, I feel certain that they will satisfy any complaint.
On visual inspection of this suit case, it is clear that a lot of care has gone into the design, and this should be perfect for me. I am attending a wedding shortly, and have purchased a new suit which will be accommodated in the lid/garment carrier portion. This is an incredible design which should keep the suit in good condition for the journey. There is plenty of space for loads of shirts and all the other paraphernalia that one travels with.
In conjunction with the Lap Top wheelie, I should have all that I need for the trip.
The only complaint is that there does not seem to be a pocket for the kitchen sink."

"I have had my rollacase for almost 10 years during which time it has been a wonderful travel companion. After flying over 1,000,000 airline miles, my bag had a few items that need to be repaired including stuck zippers and a rip in the fabric. I sent the bag to Orvis to be repaired and they called to say they were going to replace it!! Today, a brand new rollacase arrived on my doorstep. I am thrilled! and so glad to have my travelling companion back in great shape. I will buy Orvis luggage again and again."

"This rolling case is the best that I have ever owned. It is durable and travels well. The expandable feature allows you to add your purchases to your case while you travel. It is the perfect suitcase. It also works well paired with the businessman's backpack, which fits nicely over the handle. The perfect addition and all that you need for a trip!!"

"This luggage piece is impressive! Our son is completing graduate school and will soon be traveling with his job. We wanted him to have a nice piece of luggage that looks great and is practical. "I have owned other luggage pieces in the past and they slowly wear out, crack, rip, fray, etc. I was recently planning a trip and I realized that I have had my Orvis luggage for 15 years now, and it is still in great condition--no rips, cracked leather, frayed fabric, nothing. It may not be the cheapest luggage out there, but it is durable, and it looks quite handsome."

"My husband and I have purchased several of the Battenkill luggage products, and love traveling with them all. But this expandable rollacase tops all of them. And Orvis' lifetime guarantee is just that - a lifetime guarantee. My husband has had this piece of luggage for several years and travels monthly, making many international flights each year. Because of the roominess of this rollacase, he only has to travel with one piece of luggage even for long stays. Needless to say, with all of this travel, the luggage takes a beating by the airline luggage handlers, conveyor belts, being thrown in and out of taxis, trains, etc. Orvis has replaced handles and zippers free of charge on several of our pieces of Battenkill luggage. Recently we finally had to admit that our expandable rollacase might be a lost cause. It was pretty worn after all of those hundreds of thousands of miles of wear and tear. I e-mailed Orvis, submitted the repair form and shipped them the luggage . I got a phone call the day after they received it. They wanted to confirm that they could throw away that old piece of luggage because they were replacing it with a new one! I can't imagine another company in the USA doing that. I've recommended this luggage many times to friends, and have purchased it for family members as gifts. I highly recommend it and I highly recommend Orvis. Thanks for standing behind your product as you advertised you would!"

"My wife and I were taking a trip to Italy this year and we already have the large roller and felt it was going to be a little too big for our trip. I purchased 2 of the 25" expanable rollacases and they were outstanding. We were gone for 10 days and we both had room to spare in each of them,both going and most important returning. The expanable feature works well. We were in three different places and each time we unpacked our clothes they were not wrinkled and my suit coats looked like they had just come back from the cleaners. They were great to move around both airports and hotels. Light, but very durable. It's a great in between size rollacase."
